Cat Killed After Airgun Horror

In Walsall, England a young cat has lost her life after being the victim of an airgun attack. The RSPCA were called to help the animal on November 9th after she was seen dragging her back legs in Edison Road.
Asim Amjad, Animal Collection Officer, took her to a vet where it was discovered the cat was shot with a pellet that went through her left leg directly into the right leg. Vets had no viable options other than to put the animal to sleep.
“This animal suffered needlessly at the hands of a human being and I am disgusted that someone shot at this young cat” said Asim.
People who know anything about the events and who may be responsible are advised to call the RSPCA.

  1. This is horrible - I have been accidentally shot by an air pistol when I was a kid - it hurts and in the wrong spot can blind and kill!
