25 year old Lewis is always 'spoiling for a fight' says owner Jill Neale and she thinks that its why he is still alive. The cat was collected from a farm in Liskeard Cornwall as the 'cutest' only to discover he tended to be vicious and regularly bared teeth and claws.
The average life expectancy for a cat is 16 although the Guinness Book of records sat that the oldest recorded is a Texan cat named Creme Puff who was 38 years and 3 days old when it died - a human equivalent of 168 years according to the cat age conversion chart!
Age is a funny thing - I don't understand how it has lived so long?
