CAN YOU HOME "TINK" THE CAT

Meet Tink – the toothless cat that nobody wants. Poor Tink was the only moggie left after a cat charity held a re-homing day in Sutton Coldfield.

Nine out of the ten cats that were up for adoption found new homes at the event held by North Birmingham Cats Protection last month.

Tink is described as skinny but healthy, Re-homing officer, Linda Thomas said, “as the venue emptied, just Tink remained behind, forlorn and alone, no-one wanted her. Its such a pity she has a lonely nature and will make an ideal pet for an older person”.

Tink was found wandering the streets of Erdington and taken to the local vets who discovered she was microchipped. However when they checked at the address, the people listed as Tink’s owners had moved.

They believe she was previously a much-loved pet as all of her teeth had been professionally removed. In the mean time she is being cared for by one of the charity’s fosterers until a permanent home is found.
