It is re-assuring that there is some support for the felines of this world from the highest authorities. Pushkin the Persian met the Pope Benedict XV1 during a visit to Birmingham last year - apparently the cat loving Pontiff used to feed strays in Rome!
Useful as they are treated very oddly in Rome
