Cat bites can kill

Once again we hear of the dangerous contents of cat mouths that at the extreme end of the spectrum can kill. Pastuerella multocida and staphylococcus aureus are potentially lethal as Catherine Gray found out to her cost and only the most powerful antibiotics and morphine can help.  So always get treated for a cat bite but don't forget 'A human bite is far more lethal because we have more bacteria in our mouths then any other animal' - you have been warned.
