Downton Abbey actor stricken with cat parasite.

New cad from Downton Abbey Sir John Bullock, played by Actor Andrew Alexander, suffered from a mysterious complaint that caused to stop acting all together. He was lethargic with a sore throat and swollen lymph glands in his neck and no-one knew what it was until he was screened for infections that showed that he had contracted toxplasmosis from a cat. Many who carry the bug suffer no symptoms but thanks to medics he has recovered but will always carry the parasite.
