The Yardley Cat Poisoner has not been found

A search for the Yardley cat poisoner has not been found. In June of this year 6 cats were found poisoned probably by antifreeze in the Yardley area of Birmingham. This coincided with the discovery of a cat which had been beaten to death by heavy blows to the head. The main means of preventing further deaths seems to be to alert cat lovers in the area and for anyone to report suspicious behaviour. A spokesman said "This is a despicable crime by any measure and we know that those who are cruel to animals are also cruel to people. If we can catch this individual it may well save a lot of pain both human and animal."
