Cats and Royalty

Royalty across the world have often had strong relationships with cats including Queen Elizabeth 11 who is renowned for her love of corgis but in March 1948 she accepted an early wedding gift of a Siamese Kitten called Timmy who went to live at Sandringham. There was also another occasion in November that year after the wedding ceremony at Westminster Abbey. As the newly married couple appeared on the balcony to waive to the crowds a cat appeared suddenly and walked along the palace balustrade to a massive cheer from the waiting crowds. Was it Timmy by any chance?
