Famous cat kidnapped

It was 40 years ago this month that Arthur, a cat famed as the star of UK TV commercials in the sixties and seventies, was catnapped from his cats' home at Abridge in Essex UK. The famous feline was recovered but sadly died two years later. It is not known who received his TV appearance fees.
