Cat impaled on metal railings

A cat nick-named Spikey by his rescuers from Wolverhampton was found in terrible pain and impaled on a teal railing that had gone right through his body. He was sedated and removed from the spike by an RSPCA vet and it would seem that the spike had missed most of his vital organs. It seems unlikely that he would have fallen onto the spike in such an awkward way. It is hoped that it wasn't some malevolant individual that caused the 'accident' for some perverted reason.

The killer appears to lace tasty items like chicken with anti-freeze and then leave the items near cat haunts or homes. The RSPCA and the police are investigating the deaths.
