Cat Killer Hunted by Police

Police in Essex are hunting a serial cat killer who has murdered three cats in as many days.
The pets have been killed in what police describe as "horrific" attack in a small town.
A decapitated cat was found in an underpass in Laindon, Essex, on Saturday - with a "craft knife blade" lying nearby.
On Sunday, the word "CAT" was found written in blood in 2ft letters in a subway a mile away - and a similar blade was discovered nearby.
And police said the body of a cat with its throat slashed was found on a doorstep in Laindon today.

"These are horrific incidents," said a spokesman. "We would ask anyone with information to come forward."

Police said the bodies of the cats and the blades were undergoing forensic tests.
