Cats owners fear local disease
Cats in the Lichfield Staffordshire area have recently begun to fall ill to a new strain of disease known locally as “the shudder.”
The disease is spreading rapidly among the feline population and cat owners everywhere have begun to keep their pets indoors for their own safety. The outbreak of this disease seems to originate within the city and as a result is currently the only area affecting cats with this disease. Authorities have created a quarantine area to prevent cats spreading the disease and are confident that cats will be protected for their own and their owners' safety.
