Cat and five kittens were abandoned in Quinton, Birmingham. A man in a Land Rover dumped the cats at the home of Pauline Beasley who runs the Wellcat Rescue Centre after making an angry call to the centre. They explained they had no space but the creatures were dumped anyway. It would seem that there is a glut of abandoned cats with owners failing to neuter them and then being unable to afford to fee them. This 'despicable act' makes Pauline 'feel sick' but fears it is only the tip of the iceberg.
