Suicide caused by cats

The common cat parasite toxoplamsa gondii has been accused now of causing suicide amongst cat owners and mental illness among women. Dr Teodor Postolache of the University of Maryland has said that the risk of these conditions increases with the rise of T.gondii antibodies. This research certainly increases the threat to cats from health authorities across the world who may seek a sensible culling of cats where there are perceived to be threats.
