Ciccio is a 12 year old German Shepherd and its owner died over 2 months ago. However the abandoned dog still heads to the Santa Maria Assunta church in the village of San Donaci in Puglia when he hears the church bells every afternoon. He waits for his master in front of the altar every day, a master who will never come.
The problem is that dogs are faithful to their human Pack leader by nature - they can't help themselves. However a cat's faithfulness must be earned once you have earned the devotion they can be as faithful or more so than a dog?
