Cats are in control

Japanese research has shown that cats will ignore the calls of their owners if something in their lives is more pressing. They are the decision makers and this would seem to be based in the history of the species. The first known contact was 9000 years ago by wildcat Felis Silveris which domesticated itself rather than wait for the humans. Dogs will come running at the owners call...who rules?
