Cat Thrown into Stream

A 6'2" man of Asian appearance stopped his car, reached onto the rear seat and pulled out a cat by the neck and hurled it with great ferocity into a small stream in Bleak Hill Road, Erdington, Birmingham England. Fortunately an unknown member of the public went into the stream to pull out the drowning cat. Recovering at the RSPCA the terrified cat had a large gash on his leg stitched up. The man has not be identified but what might have occurred to cause this horrific level of violence remains speculation.
