Tigger went missing. The ginger tomcat was gone for 17 months then one day turned up at the home of Cats Protection volunteer Sheila Pennell less than 1 mile away from home. Tigger had been in the wars lost weight and fur as well as finding some fleas which suggested a wandering lifestyle. However the microchip gave away her home address and then she was reunited with Jayne Everill and family. It is surprising that he couldn't find his way home - a mile is a long way for cats to roam as the crow flies although they might travel a mile but in a route they have devised and become familiar with. Tigger got lost but is back home now.
