Killer virus originated with animals

The killer Ebola virus originated with the eating of 'bushmeat' including monkeys. It also has a part in the spread of the disease as whole families ate the infected meat. Here is another example of deadly viruses entering the human food chain and then being spread by human to human contact. As long as the link in the chain is established then it can be eradicated and we do need the origin of scares that involve animal to human transmission be thoroughly examined. The hysteria surrounding cat to human infection also needs to be carefully handled as even this has reached hysterical proportion in many communities.
